Hi, friends!  Dark Flight comes out on Tuesday and I’m so excited that the reviews are just starting to come in. This review  from Sandy at The Reading Cafe really made my day! I’ll include a link to the whole review, but be forewarned–it contains spoilers if you haven’t read books one and two. So just in case you don’t want to be spoiled, I’ll put just a snippet below. Happy reading!!

The Reading Cafe

“DARK FLIGHT is a fascinating and amazingly detailed urban fantasy storyline that furthers the history and background of the Demaire Fallen Angels and their lives. Kara is a heroine who loves with her heart and her soul; fights for what she believes; and is willing to push the limits of her emotions and power to save the people (and Fallen Angels) that she loves. Cassi has woven a story of love and loss; pain and sorrow; revenge and triumph. I have enjoyed the Shadow Slayers series from book one and I am in total agreement with Cassi’s decision about with whom Kara will share her life and her love.” -The Reading Cafe

Hello, my friends!

I wanted to give you an update on the Slayer’s Kiss freebie promotion to let you know that it’s been going great!!! Matter of fact, let’s do this in pictures… On Amazon Kindle’s Free list, Slayer’s Kiss got up to:

Which is totally thrilling for this author! And in turn, those downloads pushed book 2, Shadow Rising, up the paid Kindle charts to number:

Which is pretty amazing as well. And how did Slayer’s Kiss do at Samhain? Yep, number one for almost two weeks!!! Whose idea was this freebie thing, anyway? Come here and let me hug you!

But the freebie period isn’t over yet! And today, I’d like to thank everyone who listed Slayer’s Kiss on their blogs to let readers know about the free e-book! If you want to visit any of these awesome sites, I’ll include the links below.

By far, the coolest thing about this whole experience, though, has been getting to know new readers and introducing them to the Shadow Slayers world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the Twitter retweets, Facebook  postings, blog stops, and reviews! You guys are the best!

Big hugs,

Cassi
